According to the embattled politician who is a former member of the NDC, the book highlights the relationships and the tensions that have existed among the rank and file and have negatively impacted the party over the years

A former member of the opposition National Democratic Congress Mr. Stephen Atubiga says his new book, if published, will damage the reputation of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

The senior Member of the NDC, who hinted on a new book launch, was suspended by the party but later officially resigned citing ‘vindictive and chameleon-nature’ of some of the current National Executives of the party as some reasons behind his resignation.

He then formed his own Political Party, National Liberation Congress , after resigning from the NDC.

He said his book if published will bite the flag-bearer of the party, Mahama like a python and affect the party hugely.

According to the embattled politician who is a former member of the NDC, the book highlights the relationships and the tensions that have existed among the rank and file and have negatively impacted the party over the years.

Mr. Atubiga, speaking to Nana Ampratwum on Silver FM Omanbapa morning show, said, he was unable to publish his fifth book because of the shame it will bring to the party [NDC] and he was hoping that John Mahama will win the election so he can unveil it, or that he will not run for President again because it will affect him.

According to him, he has evidence because he knows the NDC, it is in his blood and he has the antidote that can put the NDC to sleep without fear.

He indicated that he is privy to certain places that the party take decisions before it comes to the headquarters for implementation.

”the NDC is a wicked political party and there is no hope in the party….the youth in the party are suffering under the current leadership and executives”

Mr. Atubiga announced that he has resigned from the National Democratic Congress for several reasons, some which he stated in his resignation letter.
