Coach of Accra Hearts of Oak, Samuel Boadu has confirmed that Great Olympics midfielder Gladson Awako is on his radar and that the player would be welcomed to the Rainbow club next season.
In an interview with Fancy Di Maria on SportsCenter, the young tactician insisted that he has expressed his thoughts about the prolific midfielder and has made his intentions known to Accra Hearts of Oak to initiate a move for the player.

The Rainbow Club capped the season with domestic double winning the Ghana Premier League (GPL) first and crowning it all defeating Ashanti Gold SC 8-7 on penalties to lift the MTN FA Cup last Sunday in Accra ahead of their Africa campaign.
The victory means the 2000 CAF Champions League winner will be making a return to Africa’s most prestigious club competition for the first time in a decade.
The former Medeama SC coach expressed confidence in the Management and Board of Directors of Hearts of Oak to sign the striker for upcoming season as the team prepares to to make an impact in next CAF’ inter-club competitions.

He was part of the Black Satellites side in 2009 FIFA U-20 world cup triumph in Egypt.
