Former Black Stars right-back, Frank Amankwah has indicated that running Asante Kotoko as a business entity should be done with the highest standards possible.
According to the former Kotoko defender, if the club is being run as a business entity, then it must be handled with diligence.
‘’If the club is being run as a business entity as we say, then Kotoko is not any ordinary team and as such should not be run anyhow like someone’s business’’
‘’Kotoko must be handled with selflessness and also activities that are beneficial to the progress of the club’’ he told Lovin Cee on SilverFM.
Asante Kotoko finished the 2020-21 campaign empty handed after failing to achieve all set targets Sporting-wise.
The development has led to much scrutiny on the club’s post season activities.
In fact, some incensed fans have blamed internal issues for the club’s inability to win a trophy.
Some old players of the Kumasi-based side have urged the club to overcome internal troubles to see the club back to its glory days.
