Felix Annan leaves Asante Kotoko
Skipper of Asante Kotoko , Felix Annan has left the Kumasi-based club after a 10 year stint.
Goalkeeper Annan left the Reds after a mutual termination agreement was reached on Thursday.
The Club extended their regards and appreciation to their captain ”for his contributions to the club and wish him well in his future endeavours”
26-year-old Annan joined Kotoko in 2011 as a teenager from Gomoa Fetteh Feyenoord Academy and rose through the ranks to become the club’s captain.
Annan’s performance was exceptional throughout his stay in Kumasi but lost his place to Kwame Baah and later Razak Abalora under the club’s former coach Maxwell Konadu, affecting his inclusion in the national team Black Stars.
He made his debut for Ghana in 2019 against Namibia in an international friendly and was part 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) team in Egypt for the Black Stars.
