”Some personal difficulties prevented him from starting” – Hearts of Oak statement on Gladson Awako
2020 / 2021 Ghana Premier League (GPL) Champions, Accra Hearts of Oak have issued a club statement on the status of newly signed talisman Gladson Awako who is yet to start for the club.
The phobians recently signed the Ghanaian midfielder and Great Olympics marksman on a two-year deal but the player is yet to kick a ball for the reigning champions.
Awako, who was keen to begin for the Rainbow Club , is suddenly eager to quit after a month.
Reports circulating in the media landscape suggest that the pacy attacker’s decision to quit just after a short stay at the club is due to some serious personal issues over alleged black magic (juju).
However, Accra Hearts of Oak in a statement via its official twitter space issued a statement indicating that the in-form attacker ”has experienced some personal difficulties that have prevented him from playing football and starting for Hearts of Oak so far”
The club expects ”the player to sort his issues out so he can return to camp”
