Conduct yourself as a statesman- Francis Adomako pleads Mahama

The Ashanti regional Organizer of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Francis Adomako has said the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the former President John Dramani Mahama should show his true statesmanship skills in conducting politics and not just be desperate for power.

The affable and hardworking organizer noted that recent comments coming from the former president Mahama will only plunge the country into chaotic situation since his comments are inciting the public against the government.

Dr. Francis Adomako in an exclusive interview with Silver News Dominic Kwaku Boateng, advised the former First Gentleman of the land, John Dramani Mahama to be mindful of his choice of words and follow the footsteps of former President John Agyekum Kufuor.

He however indicated that such comments will bring the enviable reputations of the Apex Court and the Electoral Commission into disrepute.

The Organizer also advised Mr. John Dramani Mahama to conduct himself as a Statesman in order not to put his followers into any trouble because the supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) believe in whatever he says, enough is enough, Dr. Adomako fumed.

According to him, the opposition is doing everything just to get power and destroy the economy.
He added that the former president disappointed his party supporters for saying and admitting that elections are won at the polling stations after going to the Supreme Court without any evidence.

”I am very disappointed in Ex-President Mahama for always criticizing the Electoral Commission (EC) …. Former President Mahama is a politician who served in various government positions before becoming the President: He served as a Member of Parliament , Minister of Communications, Vice President and finally President”

”Before Mahama rose up through these ranks to Presidency, the Judiciary and Electoral Commission were already instituted but on no grounds did the NPP destroy or rubbish the EC and the apex court”

”Just after the recent elections supporters of the NDC demonstrated and protested through the streets in the country burning tires and finally petitioned the Supreme Court where the judgement came out against them”

”From that very moment the former President has never said anything good about the Electoral Commission and the Apex Court”

The Ashanti regional Organizer further asked Mr. Mahama to apologize to Ghanaians for destroying the image of the Electoral Commission and the Supreme Court to the International communities.

”Former President Mahama must come clean and apologize to Ghanaians for destroying the image of the Electoral Commission and the apex Court ….. It is too much for an ex- president”

”Is Mahama going to still criticize the Electoral Commission on the unlikely event that he is declared winner in the upcoming elections” he quizzed.
