Ghana Premier League giants Accra Hearts of Oak have confirmed signing of former Ghana international Suleyman Ali “Sulley” Muntari on a free transfer.
The club unveiled Muntari on Tuesday, confirming earlier reports of having reached an agreement with Muntari.
He joins the Rainbow Colours on a one-year deal . This will give the club the chance to register him with the Ghana Football Association in the second transfer window.
Muntari started at Udinese and had stints with Italian Clubs like Inter Milan in 2010 and AC Milan. He excelled in England where he won the English FA Cup with Portsmouth in 2008.
He later joined Pescara, Deportivo La Coruna and finally Al-Ittihad Club in Saudi Arabia.
Sulley won two Serie A titles and the Champions League. He has seven trophies to his credit.
