A young man believed to be in his thirties was found dead in his girlfriend’s room Sunday morning at Asawase, in the Asokore Mampong Municipality of the Ashanti Region.
Identified only as Arko, the 33 year old was said to have passed the night at the girlfriend’s place but unfortunately could not see the light of the day this following morning, to the shock of residents in the area.
Confirming the incident to Silver FM’s reporter, Akwadaa Nyame on their Morning Show Dubbed Omanbapa hosted by NANA KWABENA AMPRATWUM, Assembly Member of Asawase West Electoral Area, Hon. Emmanuel Amissah said, the lifeless body of the man was discovered in the early hours of Sunday in the girlfriend’s room.
He revealed on that, Mr. Arko normally visit the girlfriend at Asawase as usual since the two were in a relationship but what happened after the man visited the lady yesterday, is unfortunate.
” I received distress calls on Sunday morning whiles at Church from the Asawase Police CID in the area about a lifeless body in a room at one of my residents in my area”
”The lady who has lost a friend upon questioning revealed that she went out and left the boy friend to a nearby house in the vicinity only to return to this shocking news”
Hon. Amissah disclosed that, the body had since been conveyed by the police and deposited at the morgue for autopsy and preservation whiles the lady is assisting in police investigation.
