Hearts beat Bechem Utd to win record 12th MTN FA Cup title
Hearts Of Oak bounced back from a goal down to defeat Bechem United 2-1 at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday night to retain the MTN FA Cup title after beating.
The Hunters were in good shape but the Rainbow lads struck to win the title for a record twelfth time.
Bechem United were forced to play the final 25 minutes of the game with 10 men after poster boy Augustine Okrah had been given the marching orders.
Hearts of Oak trailed after the 40th minutes but a power strike through defender Caleb Amankwa on the stroke of halftime to force the first half to end in a 1-1 stalemate.
Daniel Afriyie Barnieh shot the phobians into lead few minutes after the break to add to his birthday celebration on the night.
Hearts of Oak held on to lead to ensure they picked up the only slot for the 2022/23 CAF Confederation Cup after the 90minutes.
