Justin Kodua defeats John Boadu to emerge as NPP’s new General Secretary

Justin Frimpong Kodua, JFK as he is popularly known, defeated the incumbent General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party to emerge as the new chief scribe for the governing party.

He pulled 2,837 votes against John Boadu’s 2,524 votes to become the NPP’s next General Secretary at the just ended National Delegates Conference held at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The incumbent, John Boadu has been serving in the position as a substantive scribe for the NPP since 2015 after serving as acting General Secretary.

Justin Kodua is the Chief Executive Officer of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA), an appointment currently serving since 2017.

He is a lawyer with specialisation in corporate and commercial litigation and arbitration, with particular interest in land disputes and asset management.

He holds an LLB from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and a Barrister of Law from the Ghana School of Law. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Land Economy from the same university.
