Kotoko Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum resigns

Reports reaching mysilveronline indicates that the head coach Prosper Ogum Narteh of Ghana Premier League(GPL) Champions Asante Kotoko has resigned from his role.

The former WAFA gaffer parted ways with the Porcupine Warriors on Wednesday after a meeting with the board and the Technical Committee of the club.

He led the Reds to lift the 2022 GPL Title with 67 points from 34 games.

Narteh Ogum joined Asante Kotoko prior to the start of the 2021/22 Ghana football season from West African Football Academy [WAFA] on a two-year deal.

Talks are still ongoing between the management and the coach to review his decision but they have settled on common grounds.

The club will participate in the CAF Champions League next season.
