Kotoko complete signing of former Hearts of Oak defender Mohammed Alhassan
Asante Kotoko have completed negotiations and has formally announced signing of former Hearts of Oak defender Mohammed Alhassan.
Alhassan, 30, was released by the Phobians and joined Asante Kotoko on a free transfer with the club yet to give details on his move. He parted ways with Hearts of Oak earlier this year due to a disagreement with the club’s management.
Multiple reports indicate the lanky and experienced centre-back penned a one-year contract with a year option of renewal with the Reds.
The former deputy captain joined Hearts of Oak in 2018 from West Africa Soccer Academy and his performance saw him lift FA Cup, President’s Cup and Super Cup with the Phobians.
