Former Member of Parliament (MP) for Old Tafo Constituency of the Ashanti Region , Anthony Osei Akoto has sadly passed on at the age of 64.
The Parliament of Ghana confirmed news of his death via its official social media space.
” Former Old Tafo MP, Hon. Dr Anthony Akoto Osei passes away. May he rest in peace”
Dr Akoto Osei served as Minister of Monitoring and Evaluation in President Akufo-Addo‘s first term.
He served as Member of Parliament for Tafo Pankrono from January 2005 to January 2021.
He was said to have died on Monday.
