The Black Starlets of Ghana defeated Switzerland 3-2 on Tuesday to lift the UEFA U16 Development Tournament in Stara Pazova, Serbia.
Ramsey Asumadu’s brace saw the Starlets maintain a spectacular form to emerge winners of the competition. Influential striker, Bossman Debrah was also on target for the Starlets.
The impressive Starlets had already overpowered Serbia and Spain 4-0 and 3-2 respectively in their first two games before ending their camppaign on a good note against the Swiss with another 3-2 win.
The sensational performance of the twinkle twinkle little stars has attracted massive interest from European clubs.
Coach Abdul Karim Zito and his boys are expected back home on Wednesday.
Serbia, Spain and Switzerland were the nations also invited for the four-nation tournament.
