The New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential primaries nomination will be opened on May 26, 2023, the party announced.
In a press statement dated May 25, 2023 and signed by the NPP General Secretary, Justin Kodua-Frimpong , the National Executive Committee and National Council approved the timelines during a meeting held on Monday April 3, 2023.
“Nomination will be closed on Saturday June 24, 2023, special electoral college election if any will be held on August 26, 2023 anf the National Congress also on Saturday November 4, 2023,” the General Secretary stated.
Aspiring presidential candidates can pick up nomination forms from Friday, May 26, 2023, the statement continued.
